Customer Service Representative
Description:
Interface with customers to book new/change orders. Coordinates production orders with customers' requirements and determines priorities: Confers with customers throughout production to keep them informed of status of orders.. to solicit and resolve inquiries or questions. Monitor and trace status of production orders throughout process to determine status. Resolves customer questions related to orders. Maintain liaison with other departments for order completion and coordinates deliveries or expedite shipments. Contacts customer on delayed shipments, shortage of materials, etc., and explains circumstances. Has knowledge of product lines, prices, lead time, delivery time, drop ship items, various product data and information. Collects data and prepares reports on planned and actual TDII performance against customer requirements. Compiles and issues report of status of orders weekly Performs weekly inventory of goods and issues Finished Goods Report and Shipping Report. Receives and processes customer complaints. Enter and process repair or service orders. Receives requests for price quotations, purchase orders, order changes, adjustments and cancellations directly from customers. Maintains files orders and posts activity such as change notices. schedule changes. partial shipments and other changes. Close out purchase orders once product is ship. Maintains files of purchase orders and service orders. Achieves and maintains rapport with customers and works to give them the best possible service. Uses MRP system to enter and retrieve customer information and status . Inputs shipping routers to set up shipments informs carriers and coordinates shipments with Shipping and Receiving. Is responsible to resolve shipment delivery problems with carriers and customers. May type correspondence to customers. Operate office machines such as fax, copier, computer, calculator. typewriter, and printer. Other duties as assigned.
Education:
Associates Degree.
Experience:
Minimum 2-4 years practical, related work: experience and formal skill training
